I have just been given a redundant TiVo and plan to swap my drive and cachecard into it ..
however it still appears to be registered to the guy who gave it to me.
What is the process to de & re register it .. must he first do the de-register

Go to http://www.altepg.com/am, log in and click the "Transfer ownership" button.
