Media Center in same boat

Though some of you might be interested that UK EPG data for Windows Media Center seems to have been discontinued - ran out at midnight last night!

So many more in the same boat as TiVo owners now...

Seems to be still working on my PC although some channels only have data 'til Friday, others have data until next week. Perhaps the festivities caused a hiccup.

Are you sure those are not picking up the OTA data? Loads of folks on the Interweb saying they don't have any data either. Ireland has had none for nearly a month.

As I hardly ever use Media Centre and it is invariably out of data when I do I normally have to refresh data by selecting the download now function manually in the Automatic Download Options every time I use it. I did this yesterday and it updated my channel data as described. Not sure if this is OTA data (or even what OTA data is, to be honest). The PC is connected to the internet via cable broadband and I plug in a TV aerial via a USB TV Tuner when I watch TV on it.

Media Center can extract the EPG data from the broadcast stream and use that instead of a downloaded EPG. However some channels it can't read (the HD ones) and season passes don't work very well from that data.

The downloaded data seems to ave stopped.
