Postby jonmon » Thu Jul 14, 2011 2:18 pm

Hi :D
Could some one tell me if the TiVo glow remote as seen here http://www.enterplayment.com/tivo-c0021 ... 03051.html
works on the uk series 1 TiVo? I am thinking of getting one but was not sure it worked.
Thanks for any help

That would be a pain. I use AUX bypass and VCR bypass a LOT and they are only on the UK remote.

Your can programme the following buttons on the glo remote:

Power, Input, Volume up/down, and Mute

Possibly a bit confusing, but you could programme (teach) the "Power" button to be VCR and "Input" to be AUX ?

The advantage of the glo remote is that it can learn codes from your other remotes
- the standard silver tivo remote is limited by its database of IR codes which is quite old now.

I forgot about the AUX issue, I reprogrammed the INPUT button.

Also, the enter key on some screens is the Info key

I think thats it though
