Important note
The packages described here are designed for installing on a TiVo that is running an AltEPG version of the TiVo software. If you attempt to install one of these packages on a TiVo that is not running AltEPG software the installation is likely to fail. Further, it is possible that this will cause your TiVo to malfunction.
Note that there is an important distinction between TiVos that are running AltEPG software and TiVos that are running pre-AltEPG software but have simply been reconfigured to access the AltEPG service. This package is a special build of TiVoWebPlus that has been customised for use with the AltEPG TiVo guide data.
If you have a standard AltEPG TiVo disk installation (that is, your TiVo is running AltEPG1.0b or later, and this web site confirms this), you can install this version of TiVoWebPlus automatically from http://www.altepg.com/am. It is recommended that you stop TivoWebPlus before carrying out the installation, and then

This package provides a new version of the 'dailymail' hack. Dailymail sends you an email each day which provides details on the current status of your
TiVo - including:
- To Do list
- Expiration list
- Conflicts
- Rejected Recordings
- Now Showing list
- Overall system health
The original version of Dailymail included some misleading and erroneous calculations. This version has been completely rewritten to be more accurate and more robust. Additionally the code which sends out the e-mail has been completely rewritten to avoid errors when sending to certain servers.
The AltEPG version requires no customisation - you just install the package and it will run. TiVo will send your daily email to the email address you
specified when you registered your TiVo. TiVo sends the email at 05:45 each morning.
Alternatively you can configure it to send to your own e-mail account.

It will:
i) remove the IMDb ref from programme lists and showing screens
ii) add a direct link to IMDb on the showing screen (replacing the existing search link).

This package applies patch to the TiVo installer script that is used to install TiVo software packages.
The patch ensures that when you install TiVo software packages the installer uses the correct network path for retrieving the software from
the AltEPG server. Most users will not need this patch, but if you get repeated errors when trying to install new TiVo software, this patch may solve the problem.
You should seek advice at the AltEPG Forum before installing this patch.

Package: ircodes_manhattan_sx
Description: Remote control codes for Manhattan SX Freesat set-top box.
This package will add the IR codes so your TiVo remote can control the Manhattan SX satellite receiver.
You will need to restart your TiVo for this package to work. Wait until the indexing of your download has finished, and then restart TiVo.
The Manhattan codes will replace those for Pace:20000. What this means is you should configure your TiVo to:
"Recorder & Phone Setup" -> "Set-Top Box Control" -> "Satellite Box Brand" = Pace -> "Code" = 20000-Fast
(Note: it's been done this way as it's the simplest way to get these new codes onto both AltEPG and 'standard' TiVos.)

Description: Remote control codes for Pace Sky set-top box.
This package will revert your Pace : 20000 remote control codes back to original issue
(e.g. if you've downloaded a new set of codes and want to revert back to Pace original codes).
You will need to restart your TiVo for this package to work. Wait until the indexing of your download has finished, and then restart TiVo.

The Manhattan codes will replace those for Pace:20000. What this means is you should configure your TiVo to:

The Manhattan codes will replace those for Pace:20000. What this means is you should configure your TiVo to:
"Recorder & Phone Setup" -> "Set-Top Box Control" -> "Satellite Box Brand" = Pace -> "Code" = 20000-Fast
(Note: it's been done this way as it's the simplest way to get these new codes onto both AltEPG and 'standard' TiVos.)

Most users will not need this patch, but if you get repeated errors when trying to install new TiVo software, this patch may solve the problem.
You should seek advice at the AltEPG Forum before installing this patch.

This package provides an AltEPG version of the 'dailymail' hack. Dailymail sends you an email each day which provides details on the current status of your
TiVo - including:
- To Do list
- Expiration list
- Conflicts
- Rejected Recordings
- Now Showing list
- overall system health
The original version of Dailymail used a complex configuration file which required considerable customisation for each installation -
for example you have to set up details of your email account, and construct Base-64 encoding of your email username and password.
The AltEPG version requires no customisation - you just install the package and it will run. TiVo will send your daily email to the email address you
specified when you registered your TiVo. TiVo sends the email at 05:45 each morning.
This hack is only suitable for networked AltEPG TiVos. Dialup TiVos will be able to create the email but will not be able to send it.
